AZ Capital has advised the shareholders of Palacios Alimentación, a leading company in the ready meals and desserts segments, on the sale of a majority stake to a consortium of investors led by JB Capital.

Palacios Alimentación is the leading player in the Spanish ready meals market, with a strong presence in four core segments: chilled pizzas, Spanish omelettes, desserts, and chorizo. With annual revenues close to €400 million, the company operates seven production facilities across Spain, the United States, and the United Kingdom, where it has a strong presence in the premium dessert segment through its Rhokett brand.
